Construction and Investment LICOGI Company no.2 was established according to the Decision no. 863/QĐ/TCT-HĐQT dated 20/6/2007 by the President of Infrastructure Development and Construction Corporation – LICOGI on the foundation of merging of two units LICOGI Quang Ninh Branch and Ha Long Project Management Board.

LICOGI Quang Ninh Branch was set up in 2000 with main functions are to trade, approach market, find jobs for the Corporation at the same time participate in execution of civil, industrial, traffic projects and other works designated by the Corporation. Seven years of existence, Quang Ninh Branch increasingly strengths and develops. The annual growth is about 20%/year. By the year 2006, its turnover gained 50 billion VND.

Ha Long Project Management Board, directly under LICOGI Corporation was set up in 2002 with the aim at implementing projects in Quang Ninh province. Among the projects, Lan Be - Cot 8 sea boundary road project is completed 80%; infrastructure work of Cot 5 - Cot 8 Urban area is basically completed, 50% land is handed over to the customers. There are customers living there. Nam Ga – Ha Long urban area project is leveled 8,3ha/25ha, the infrastructure work is completed and the site compensation is continued. All the investment projects are carried out in accordance with the basic construction procedures. In the past few years, beside obligatory duties, the Ha Long project management board contributed about 24 billion VND deducted from the project benefit to Quang Ninh province. It was highly appreciated by Quang Ninh authorized agencies.
